Prerequisites

Boys in grade 4-12, with or without previous musical training

The choir is open to boys and those who self-identify as boys who wish to sing in a boys community choir.

Rehearsal expectations

If you cannot attend, please notify the choir manager in advance.

This choir includes 3 - 4 public performances

Annual Fee

The Ottawa Boys Choir uses a flexible pricing model, providing 3 cost choices for all of our choristers. Option A is a subsidized rate ($495), Option C is a rate that is representative of the true cost of choir ($695), and Option B is the mid-point ($595). Every family can choose the level of payment that is right for their situation. The option you select in no way affects your chorister's experience.

We know that for some families even the Option A rate is prohibitive. Please know that a fee reduction bursary is available. Apply here. If you are applying for a bursary, please wait for a bursary discount code prior to registering.

What does the fee cover?

Weekly rehearsals, music, dress rehearsals, concerts, guest artists, extra workshops and uniform bowtie. Concert tickets and uniform consisting of black dress shirt, black dress pants, black socks and black dress pants are the responsibility of the parents and are not included in the fees.
